The guys at Woosim launch another new mobile printer onto the market.
With the success of Woosim’s PORTI-W40 Bluetooth and IrDA wireless printers the engineers decided that an even more compact mobile printer was needed so they shrunk the W40 and came up with the SW40. With its 3.0″ print width and superb print speed of 60mm/sec the PORTI-SW40 promises to to live up to the success of its W40 big brother.
It is truely pocket sized at only 107.5mm x 88.5mm x 45mm and weighing only 360g makes it ideal for a host of applications requiring a lightweight, compact, fast relaible wireless printer that won’t break the bank. The new SW40 fits in nicely with Woosim’s current range and ideally plugs the gap between their 2.0″ and 4.0″ versions. Features include:-
Clamshell design for easy paper loading.
Printing Method: Direct Thermal
Characters per line: 64 cpl
Print Resolution: 203dpi, 8 dots/mm
Print Width: 3.0″ (72mm, 576 dots)
Print Speed: 60mm/sec
Paper Width: 80mm x 40mm OD
Interface: UART or TTL with Bluetooth Ver2.0 or IrDA Ver1.0
Battery: Rechargeable 7.4VDC, 1400mAh (Li-on), 1 hour continuous printing
The SW40 supports both graphics and text printing as well as 1 and 2 dimensional barcodes, it is supplied with a mains AC adaptor with UK power lead, serial cable and a roll of paper and an in-car charger/adaptor available as an optional extra.
Applications that would benefit from the use of the SW40 are, Mobile POS, Field Servicing and Parking Enforcement to name just a few.
