Our range of compact TFT LCD video and VGA kits has further been enhanced by the release of our 5.0″ VGA resolution version. The complete kit includes the 5.0″ VGA TFT, a compact VGA driver board plus OSD setup board and a mounting frame for securing the board and display together and to provide a simple mechanical mounting solution.

The TFT LCD has a built-in LED backlight providing a hi-bright 450 cd/m2 and also offers an excellent contrast ratio for such a small display of 400:1. The VGA board fits snugly behind the display and is  provided with a remote mounted 6 button OSD menu board which allows the user to adjust the display’s image quality etc.  The VGA board is powered by a single 12 VDC supply which in-turn provides the voltage for the display including the LED backlight.

Once again we will be participating in the Southern Manufacturing & Electronics exhibition which is coming up in early February, after a very busy and successful show in 2009 we had no hesitation in re-booking for 2010.

Also on show from partner Woosim Systems, will be examples of our micro thermal printers, from mechanisms to portable/mobile.

Bolymin’s range of COG LCD just keeps growing, with the addition of their BO128128C, Bolymin’s total number of COG modules rises to 16 different graphic and 4 different character modules showing clearly their commitment to expanding their product line to meet the demands to todays engineers and designers. The BO128128C can be supplied with or without white LED backlighting and has a 4 Wire Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) offering 16 levels of greyscale showing further Bolymin’s understanding of today’s market requirements.

March is starting to be a busy time for new product launches within our supplier portfolio. Bolymin’s new  range of compact TFT-LCD video modules are now available and make an excellent addition to Bolymin’s extensive product range. Their TFT LCD range consists of a 2.5″, 3.5″, 4.0″ and 7.0″ sizes all supplied with a compact video driver board which is driven from a single 12VDC supply and takes a standard composite (CVBS) video signal which will auto sync to either NTSC, PAL or SECAM.

The kit includes the TFT-LCD display, video board, a mounting frame, OSD board for picture setup plus the input signal and power cable, everything you need to build your own video monitor.
