Industrial/Rugged TFT LCD Monitors

Our range of Industrial/rugged TFT LCD monitors are available in two basic formats, “Open-Frame” and “Closed-Frame”.  Open- frame monitors are supplied with a front bezel and Closed-Frame without.  Both types are designed to be integrated into a panel/fascia, kiosk or pedestal, although some versions have the standard VESA mounting holes on the rear of the case so could be mounted on a wall or pole/stand.

All are mechanically designed to easily integrate into your unique system enclosure and can be supplied either as a non-touch type with front protection glass to protect the TFT LCD or as an interactive touch type with the choice of different touch technologies depending on your environment, the intended user and budget.

Monitors are available in all the standard sizes from the compact 6.4” diagonal VGA through to 42.0” diagonal WXGA with larger sizes currently under development.

Please note not all touch options are available on all sizes.

All our monitors are supplied with all the accessories you would expect if you were buying a normal desktop monitor i.e. ac adaptor and VGA cable plus for the touch types depending on which touch technology you choose either a USB or RS-232 interface cable and full software.

Craft Data work closely with their Industrial Monitor suppliers who in turn work closely with the large TFT LCD manufacturers in South Korea and Taiwan so we can identify market shifts in TFT LCD panel size and performance.  This enables us to keep our customer base well informed of possible panel shortages and upgrades. 

A key point when deciding which display route to take i.e. a kit of parts, display, CCFL backlight inverter and driver board etc. is the long-term availability.  The large TFT manufacturers that supply the bulk of panels used today have a habit of making subtle changes to the TFT panel mounting etc. small concern to them but a big concern for small to medium users.  When buying a closed or open frame monitor we take this concern away as regardless of TFT panel changes we can supply the exact piece of monitor hardware that you have been using for a number of years.
